James McCuneJames Patrick McCune, Esquire

A graduate of Terry Parker High School, Jacksonville, Florida in 1989, James went on to Florida State University where he earned his B.A. in 1993. James then attended law school at Cumberland School of Law (Samford University) and graduated in 1997.

James' first job upon graduating law school was as an Assistant State Attorney in St. Augustine, St. Johns County, Florida. As a prosecutor, he handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from juvenile to misdemeanors to felonies. While at the State Attorney's Office, James gained valuable trial experience, which he continues to apply now in private practice.

Upon leaving the State Attorney's Office, James entered private practice and eventually opened his own practice in 2007. He concentrates his practice on criminal law, family law, personal injury cases, wills and estate closings and real estate law.

James is also active in the community. He is the chairman for Big Brothers Big Sisters in St. John County as well as an active big brother himself. James also volunteers as an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher, which he has done since 1998. James serves on the EPIC Community Services Board and the Historical Architectural Review Board (HARB) for the city of St. Augustine. James also serves as the town attorney for Welaka, a municipality located in Putman County.

Ben RichBenjamin J. Rich, Esquire

A graduate of St. Augustine High School in 1997, Ben Rich went on to receive a Bachelor of Sciences (B.S.) degree at the University of Central Florida in 2001. After graduating from UCF, Ben went on to law school at Florida Coastal School of Law. In 2003, he was initiated to the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi and clerked for Alexander Christine, Esq. and R.J. Larizza, Esq. part-time.

In 2005, Ben graduated from FCSL with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2005. In 2005, Ben Rich accepted an associate attorney position with Christine & Christine, P.A., and concentrated in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury law and general civil litigation. Ben has also been recognized for his dedication to provide equal justice for people in poverty, and received the St. Johns County Pro Bono Award in 2007.

Ben Rich joined the ranks of McCune Law, P.A. in August of 2007 and continues to concentrate in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury and general civil litigation.
